The team started the day worshiping our God at the Wesley United
Methodist Church (where the church team usud
to stay) and the Wesley Memorial United Methodist
Church (where team is staying this trip).
The team rookies and some veterans worshiped
at the Wesley United Methodist Church which
was very alive and spirit-led. The worship
was over three hours long and included baptisms
and communion but with the dynamics of the
worship the time quickly went by.
The 2-month old infant that was baptized
has a brain tumor and will be operated on
this Tuesday – please
keep her in your prayers.
The afternoon found
people enjoying Charleston walking old
town and market, geo-caching, letter boxing
and walking the waterfront. Many beautiful
old and historic buildings line the streets
and the bay had dolphins swimming.

Dinner we
dined together in old Charleston together
(with exception of Bob and Alice, Alice
is still not feeling well) and had a great
time getting to know each other better.
We tried to have ice cream together at a
favorite stop but one of the cars (ok Bryan,
Dave, Sarah and Christal) could not seem
to locate which of the many Ye Old Ice Cream
shops that the rest of the team had reached
and arrived well after the others had finished
their dessert. The miss-located car did
get to see a new cable tension bridge up
close a few trips back and forth finding
the right shop.
